The Artists Β· Three Generations

Kelly, T’keyah & Kelilah β€” A Family of Aboriginal Artists

Antakirinja, Yankunytjatjara and Kokatha women painting Country, family and story β€” from Ceduna to galleries, brand collaborations and art prizes across Australia.

A KTAFA Story

Three generations, one continuous line of story

KT Aboriginal Fine Art is, at its heart, a family. Mother Kelly Taylor and her daughters T'keyah and Kelilah Taylor-Ware paint side by side β€” passing down dot work, songlines and the stories of their Antakirinja, Yankunytjatjara and Kokatha ancestors.

What began at a kitchen table in Ceduna has travelled to the Royal Flying Doctor Service, Disney, Bluethumb, the Australian Taxation Office, Northline and a growing list of exhibitions, commissions and brand collaborations.

The KTAFA family

Mother Β· Antakirinja, Yankunytjatjara & Kokatha

Kelly Taylor

Born in Ceduna, South Australia, Kelly Taylor is the matriarch of KTAFA. Taught by her late grandmother Millie Taylor (nee Lennon), Kelly carries ancient stories of Country through her dot work β€” songlines of water, women's ceremony and the lands of her people. Her work has been commissioned by the Royal Flying Doctor Service, SA Water, the Australian Taxation Office and Disney.

Daughter Β· Emerging Contemporary Artist

T'keyah Ware

T'keyah paints alongside her mother Kelly, co-creating the RFDS Flight Journey Line commission unveiled in 2020. Her practice bridges traditional iconography with contemporary palettes β€” exploring identity, family and the lived experience of being a young Aboriginal woman across two worlds.

Daughter Β· Next-Generation Storyteller

Kelilah Taylor-Ware

The youngest of the KTAFA trio, Kelilah began painting beside her mother and sister as a child. Her early works carry the same Antakirinja, Yankunytjatjara and Kokatha story-lines β€” a living continuation of three generations of women artists from Ceduna.
