How much does a commissioned artwork cost?

Commission pricing depends on the artist, medium, size and complexity. Original works on canvas typically start from AUD $2,500 for smaller pieces and scale with size and detail. We provide a detailed quote after the initial consultation so there are no surprises.

How long does the commission process take?

Most commissions are completed within 6–12 weeks from approval of the proposal. Larger or more complex works may take longer. We confirm a realistic timeline at the proposal stage and provide updates throughout creation.

Can I request a specific size or format?

Absolutely. We regularly create works to fit specific wall dimensions, from intimate 40 × 40 cm pieces to large-scale installations exceeding 2 metres. Share your wall measurements and we'll recommend the ideal scale and orientation.

What is included with a commissioned work?

Every commission includes the finished artwork, a signed Certificate of Authenticity, provenance documentation, and professional packaging for safe delivery. Framing and installation services are available as add-ons.

Can I see progress or request changes during creation?

Yes. We share progress images at key milestones. While each artist's creative process is respected, we work with you to ensure the final piece aligns with your brief in terms of palette, scale and composition.

Is a deposit required?

A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission and begin the creation process. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before shipping. All payments are handled securely through the gallery.
