About Artwork

Out on Country reproduction print represents families hunting and gathering traditional bush foods, children playing freely amongst the sand hills, and communities coming together around rock holes and waterholes. The flowing symbols and meeting places throughout the artwork reflect the journeys taken across Country and the strong connections shared between family, culture and land.

As the day comes to an end, families gather around the campfire to share stories, knowledge and Dreaming stories with the younger generation. These moments help keep culture strong, ensuring traditions, language and cultural knowledge continue to be passed down through generations.

The rich earth tones and detailed symbolism celebrate the beauty of Country, the importance of family and the deep cultural connections that Aboriginal people maintain with the land.
