The Story

About the Artwork

Storytelling is a contemporary Aboriginal art print inspired by the passing down of knowledge, culture, and memories through generations. Through symbolic pathways, gathering circles, and layered dot work, Kelly Taylor reflects the importance of family, Elders, and connection to Country within Indigenous storytelling traditions.

The flowing movement throughout the artwork represents journeys across Country, while the circular symbols represent meeting places, waterholes, and the sharing of stories between generations. Rich earthy and layered tones create depth and movement, bringing warmth and cultural meaning into contemporary spaces.

Inspired by memories of sitting with family on Country listening to stories shared by Elders, Storytelling celebrates connection, identity, and the continuation of culture through art.

Professionally reproduced on premium archival canvas, this Aboriginal art print is available framed or rolled and designed to bring contemporary Indigenous storytelling into modern interiors.
