Kelilah Ware – Aboriginal Artist
Kelilah Ware is a South Australian Aboriginal artist from the Yankunytjatjara, Kokatha and Wirangu peoples. She is part of the KT Aboriginal Fine Art family collective and represents the next generation of artists continuing a strong cultural tradition of storytelling through painting.
Growing up surrounded by art within her family, Kelilah developed a passion for painting and cultural storytelling from a young age.
Her artworks reflect memories of family life on Country, community gatherings and the landscapes of South Australia.
Artistic Style
Kelilah’s paintings use traditional dot painting techniques combined with contemporary colour palettes and expressive movement.
Her artworks often depict scenes of families travelling, gathering bush foods and spending time together on Country.
Through these paintings, Kelilah shares cultural stories passed down through generations while expressing her own creative voice.
