The story

Family Day Out captures families spending time on Country, hunting, gathering bush foods like witchetty grubs, honey ants, quandongs and wild onion, swimming in creeks, and returning to camp at sunset to share stories around the fire. Through warm earth tones and expressive brushwork, Kelly reflects moments of kinship, memory, and deep connection to land. Each mark honours her heritage and the living spirit of her people.
